ABOUT US

Founded in 1961 to develop the primary infrastructure for the establishment of industrial activities in south Sardinia, the Industrial Consortium of the Province of Cagliari (CACIP) has originated the best case histories of industrialisation on the island.

The Consortium is composed of the following authorities: the Metropolitan City of Cagliari and the Municipalities of Cagliari, Assemini, Capoterra, Elmas, Sarroch, Sestu and Uta. It manages the industrial area of Cagliari, which is spread over three hubs: Elmas, Macchiareddu and Sarroch, with a total surface area of about 9,244 hectares.

CACIP is the second largest industrial consortium in Italy.
